Promise Kennels has been a trusted partner for families all over the USA, and also to Golden families in Canada, Australia, and South Africa.
What began with a hunting dog in 1989 and our daughter's request for a "real show dog" in 1990, we have pursued a never ending quest for health, longevity, beauty and natural talent in our breeding program.
With that pursuit came training and showing our purebred Golden Retrievers and English Springer Spaniels.
We are AKC Breeders of Merit.

Advanced Training Programs
Starting Service Dog training begins when still a puppy. Obedience training starts young with teaching important behaviors associated with words. Sit, Stand, Down, Leave it, Off, Here, Kennel, Up, OK. From there, further obedience and MANNERS foundation is important for well-behaved dogs and is needed prior to the dog's specialty training for each person's specific needs.
Show Dog Preparation
The puppies we keep as "show hopefuls" start their specialized training for show dogs as youngsters, focusing on socialization, handling techniques, and grooming for competitive success.

Promise Kennels has been passionate about Golden Retrievers and English Springer Spaniels a since our first dog in 1989. Specializing in breeding, training and showing purebred Golden Retrievers and English Springer Spaniels, we are proud to be AKC Breeders of Merit. Our mission is to provide the best experience for families and individuals while waiting for and picking up their new family member. We utilize ENS (early neurological stimulation) and opportunities for puppy socialization and beginning training prior to them leaving for their new life. We are serious about helping dogs and their owners build strong, lasting relationships.
